I AM Done With the CARDIO

Ang after workout So here I am, after a KILLER workout this morning! (Don’t mind the sleepy, just out of bed look) I am still doing the Big 5 Circuit Workouts. This is week 3 I think and for some reason, I don’t recall Workout C being this difficult? Maybe it was the added weights I did, but dang..it kicked A$$!

It’s a barbell circuit which consists of the following exercises doing each 15 repetitions:
A)Squat (45lbs)
B)Push Press (20lbs..could have used more)
C)BB Bent Over Row (45lbs)
D)Forward Lunge (20lbs)
E)Mountain Climber (BW)

Rest 1 minute in between and repeated 3x! Yea, I was sweating like I had just run 5 miles and huffin and puffin! LOOOOVE me workouts like that! I am totally digging the way my arms are looking too. I have always wanted nice, toned arms and I finally have them!

So back to the no more cardio for me…well, I have still not done any cardio machine in over 2 months. It feels GREAT! For one, I hate doing cardio. Instead I have been doing bodyweight circuits 3x per week, along with my circuit strength training. So this is my plan, when I finish the TT challenge, I am going to start making up my own circuits and trying this out on my clients and see what happens and if they like it better!

Real Food In A Bar

thinkproductsBack in early June, I received some products for thinkproducts, which are an all-natural with powerful nutrients. Perfect for the health conscious, on the go person like me!

I was able to try one of all the different bars and I must tell you they were VERY YUMMY! I am a very picky person when it comes to healthy, nutrition bars. They actually have to TASTE good and these were by far the best of any that I could buy in the stores. Not only that, but knowing that they are not full of chemicals and loads of other stuff I can’t even pronounce, but instead all natural ingredients..what an even better reason to love them! My favorite, of course with the high protein, was the thinkThin bars. I am always conscious of getting enough protein in my diet and most bars are very limited on the amount of protein, but these bars had 20 grams of protein, which is perfect for a meal!

Some of the bars DO contain sugar alcohols, if that is something that would like to avoid, but not all of them do. Make sure to visit the thinkproducts site to see all the available flavors, because there are too many to name!

The thinkproduct bars are also available at the following stores: Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Wild Oats, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Safeway, Stop N Shop, Publix, Wegmans, Walmart and Target. Make sure to pick up some and give them a try! For less than $2 per bar, you definitely can’t go wrong!

Oh yea..one last thing…I have 5 bars to give away….all but the thinkthin bars ( I told you I liked them the best). linksFirst up..what is up with THIS???? Are you kidding me? Ok..so maybe he lost weight..CONGRATS, but how does he plan to keep it off? And just what is going on inside of his body from eating all that processed food! ICK!

I really enjoy reading what Cassandry Forsythe has to say…and this was some great advice. PLANNING is the KEY to losing body fat!! (Hence, why I need to take that advice and USE it!)

After a looong week for me, I thought this sounded like a perfect idea! When was the last time you pampered yourself?

Have yourself a good laugh with this one!
