My keto diet
Thought I would update you on the keto diet. The first week was pure hell! I had no energy, was so irritable and way less patience than I normally do! The eating part actually wasn’t that hard, just boring. So different to be eating all the foods that I have probably not touched or tried to avoid for the past year and a half. The beginning of the second week, I was doing better and had much more energy. I had a couple slip ups with the diet and now am debating whether I want to continue or not. This is NOT a diet I would recommend to someone who is just starting out with their fitness goals. For me, it was a way to break through my plateau of fat loss. I dropped from 19% to 18.4, maybe 18.1% in about a week and half. I had been struggling to break below that 19% for quite some time.
Now my plan is to continue on with my 2 upper body workouts and 2 lower body workouts per week and 2-3 days of cardio. I have been visiting bodybuilding.com a lot lately and find it very inspiring! As I dont wish to become HUGE and muscular, I do wish to be very well toned and look amazing! I will try to keep up better here and post more.
