Starting Off Your Morning The WRONG Way?

Have you ever been awakened by a knock on your front door at 6am? Well I just was! This week has been tough, trying to get back to my routine and schedule and trying to get enough sleep. I was totally exhausted last night, and forgot to set my alarm. Yup..6am, my client came a-knockin’ on my door! I am a very sound sleeper also and STILL didn’t hear the door, my husband woke me and asked if I had a client! CRAP! We both jumped out of bed, he put on shorts and answered the door while I got dressed. I apologized and of course she was fine with it, but I felt horrible. Not only that I had forgot, but being awakened so suddenly, I was still hardly conscious!

I slowly woke up as she worked her butt of in her session. Me in my bare feet, hoping no dumbbells would drop on them, hair all a mess and bad breath! My poor client!

After she left, I planned on doing my workout. I still just was not fully awake and had no energy to do it, but I pushed on through it anyhow, grumbling under my breath and sighing at how heavy the weights seemed. I finished my workout, (which was a good thing, because I know there is no way I would have gotten in done later) and while I still feel out of sorts, I am happy I got my workout in.  But I just wanted to let my readers know that I too, am human, don’t always want to work out and push through it anyhow!

Now I am off to take a nap..ZZZ…just kidding!

I hope everyone ELSE’s morning has started off MUCH better than mine!

  1. I hate it when that happens (and it happens to us all). I’m generally pretty out of sorts unless I have a good 10 minutes to be with myself and chill. And coffee. That does wonders.

  4. OOOH do I know that feeling. In fact I was feeling that way today!!
    I sat at home this morning debating for the longest time, should I go to the gym.
    I did finally go, and I too grunted and groaned the whole time.
    My theory: A bad day working out, is better than your best day not.
