Today’s Fat Burning Workout
Well, I admit, I had a couple ‘drinks’ last night. Just a way to relax on a Saturday night. I don’t do it very often, because I really don’t like the way I feel the next day. This morning I woke up feeling a little cruddy and had planned to finally do the Bodyweight 100 AND some intervals. Well, my tummy was acting up (and now I know its not from the alcohol, I have a stomach bug of some kind) so I decided I would just do the intervals.
I made sure to drink about 16 oz of water first and then had some yogurt, thinking it would give me some energy AND help my stomach, which it did. I did a warm up of 3.5mph for 2 minutes and then ran at 6.0 for 60 seconds and then back down to 3.5 for 60 seconds. I did this 6 times and then decided I could do more, so I increased my speed to 6.5 for 60 seconds and back down to 3.5 for 60 seconds 2 more times for a total of 8 intervals! AHHHHHHHHHHH…that felt GREAT! And also helped with the guilt of the crappy way I ate yesterday AND the drinks I had!
Now to just get in that Bodyweight 100! I challenged some other girls and they had times of 6 minutes and 8 minutes. Now I really need to kick butt!
